Alternative to seaweed

Hello!😊 Bjarne really loves lamb, so we tried out a lamb recipe. It’s the recipe I’ve found with the most energy per gram, and in this recipe he only needs a total of 249 grams per day. On a good day, he manages to eat everything, spread over 3–4 meals a day. However, he is not particularly fond of seaweed, so I am wondering if there are any alternatives we can use instead? We have tried using lukewarm broth, mixing it in well, etc., but he loses interest completely when we add seaweed. I don't really want to change the recipe now that we have finally found one that does not require so much food :/

  • Hello! So glad that get-in-bowl works for Bjarne! 🐾 I recognise what you're saying, and it's possible that we can solve this technically in the ingredient lists. The challenge with replacing an ingredient yourself is that the supplements are added to meet specific needs – for example, seaweed/kelp is added for iodine, but you can use iodine tablets instead. The challenge is that the recipe/dosage must then be carefully adjusted, as this affects the balance. So we'll see if we can solve this eventually! 😊
