"Pasture" grass

Hi, I have two dogs and both are quite keen on eating grass. It’s pretty much a daily occurrence 😊. What makes them eat so much grass? What are they lacking? Do you have any tips or advice on this?🤔😊

• Hi! 😊 It’s actually very common for dogs to eat grass, and it usually doesn’t mean they’re lacking anything. Many people think dogs eat grass because they feel sick or are trying to vomit, but research doesn’t support this as the main explanation. Most dogs seem perfectly healthy before eating grass, and most don’t vomit afterwards either. I would therefore not automatically assume a ‘deficiency’. If both dogs otherwise have normal stools, a good appetite, plenty of energy, a stable weight and do not vomit often, daily grass-eating is usually perfectly fine; my dog does it too from time to time (just don’t let them eat where it’s likely been sprayed with pesticides).
