  • Hi Hanne 😊 Avital Calcium contains 36% calcium, while ground eggshells contain approximately 360–400 mg of calcium per gram, i.e. around 36–40% elemental calcium. This means that eggshells contain approximately the same amount – and in some cases slightly more – calcium per gram than Avital. The difference is therefore very small and within natural biological variation. When converting from Avital to eggshells, the ratio will therefore be approximately 1:1 in grams. You can safely replace and use approximately the same amount of eggshells as you previously used of Avital.
