Suspected reaction to Aniforte.

Hi! Kiara has now been on the recipe for 6 weeks. During the first 4 weeks, almost all allergy symptoms disappeared. But after an unfortunate intake of tortilla chips, she started vomiting and retching. This has settled down somewhat. Then I added the latest supplement to her diet – Aniforte – and since then she has started chewing on her paws a lot again. I suspect she is reacting to chicken, and I see that there are eggshells in Aniforte. Is there anything else I can use, or can I increase any of the other supplements to match what she was getting from Aniforte? Today’s problems are retching, regurgitation and itching.

• Hi! You can safely stop giving AniForte for the remainder of the elimination period and continue with the diet until the allergy symptoms have disappeared again. It takes a long time for dogs to develop deficiencies, so it’s fine to continue making the diet without it 😊
