Fungal infection in the ears

Hi! I’m wondering if any of you out there have experience with ear infections in dogs? It seems to keep coming back time and time again. I don’t want Pippi to get stuck on any kind of cortisone, so I’m really keen to get some input on what others do to prevent this.
