Struvite crystals

Ludde and Leonard, two 2-year-old male cocker spaniels, have FINALLY made a full recovery from a non-bacterial UTI, and massive amounts of struvite crystals, urine pH of 7.5 and 8, proteins and leukocytes after 1.5 months on Evighetshunden’s recipe with low phosphorus and magnesium content. Ten thumbs up! They had a bit of loose bowels at the end of the feeding period – I wonder if it was due to the wheat germ oil, which first became available and arrived in the post at the end of the diet period.

Some dogs react to it at first, but it usually sorts itself out. Alternatively, you can replace it with vitamin drops; I’ve written more about that here: {{ARTICLE:can-i-replace-wheat-germ-oil:Can I replace wheat germ oil?}} In any case, the results you’ve achieved are truly impressive. • Absolutely brilliant! Well done!💕 They loved the food too. Super bonus: The behavioural problems that arose have almost stopped. They’re free from pain and no longer need painkillers. Leonard was very affected and became tense from the pain, developed muscle problems, and became fearful and aggressive. He used to be the world’s biggest cuddly bear. He’s having physiotherapy for his tense muscles and the behavioural problems are more or less gone, and the cuddly teddy is back.😍 Happy boys again🎉

• Yes, dog food really isn’t ‘just food’. Leonard has been examined for HD, patella and all sorts of things. He limped on one hind leg from time to time. But it was tense muscles in the pelvis due to pain in the urinary tract. Share away😍 Ludde is the black one and Leonard is the red one.
