Tips til oppbevaring

Hi there :) I need inspiration! What do you store the finished dog food in? And how many meals do you make at the same time?

• Hi, I made almost 20 kg of food over the weekend! I started with two 5 kg turkeys and 5 kg of cod/white fish. I put the daily rations in 4-litre bags, which I flattened a little so they would thaw more easily. I have lots of freezers here on the farm...
• 20kg, wow! 🤩 I use various silicone containers (google "silicon tray food") 🐶
• Thank you🤩 I hadn't thought about bags. And 20 kg, wow! I should see if I can find the last turkey in the freezer 😂 I also need to check out the silicone containers. Are they completely airtight? No "frost" on the inside when you open them?
• I was thinking of using bags, but I bought hard plastic boxes with lids (5pk) 2 for £9.99 at Coop Extra. You get 500g in a box. You can probably find cheaper ones, but these were close by and easy to get 😅 I'm happy with them. Wash and reuse them 🤪
• I use glass containers/ovenproof dishes from Clas Ohlson, with plastic lids :) They take up a bit of space, but I think they are more environmentally friendly and better for the food than plastic. I prepare food for 7 or 14 days at a time.
• Do you think the lids will last? I have some from IKEA, and on two of the lids, one of the "flaps" has fallen off :(
• I use glass containers from IKEA with glass lids. I don't make very much at a time, but I plan to get started with it eventually, and then I'll probably need to buy something suitable to use.
