Recipes without Vitamin A
I’d like to adapt this recipe to Ask’s needs, as he has zero intake of vitamin A. His levels are very elevated. In addition, he gets a cartilage bone every day, as well as an egg white, which must be taken into account. Complete ingredient list for Ask (daily portion): - Pork, lean minced meat (boiled/fried): 97 g (main protein source) Cod, steamed: 160 g (Provides lean protein and important minerals) Rice, white (cooked): 200 g (Easily digestible source of carbohydrates) Pumpkin, canned (without salt): 200 g (Rich in fibre and stabilises the stomach)Lamb liver (boiled/poached): 48 g (Important source of vitamin A, copper and B vitamins) Carrots (boiled): 40 g Cucumber (raw, peeled): 79 g Hemp seeds (peeled): 8.7 g (Source of essential fatty acids) Wheat germ oil: 4.8 g (Source of vitamin E) Frozen berries: 16 g (Antioxidants) Necessary supplements for nutritional balance: To make sure the recipe is complete according to FEDIAF guidelines, it includes these precise supplement amounts: Avital Calcium: 4.0 g (an important source of calcium since the recipe doesn’t contain bones) BioLife Zinc 14 mg: 1.2 tablets (for skin, coat and immune system) Choline 300 mg: 0.4 tablets (important for liver function and nervous system) Nycoplus Vitamin D3 drops: 1.6 drops
